Purpose built for a traffic roundabout, this sculpture pays tribute to a monastery that once stood on the site and is inspired by the architecture of the nearby medieval abbey of Maulbronn. The openings into the interior of the sculpture correspond to the directions of the roads leading onto the roundabout
